Puglia, Italy

June 27 - July 5, 2026

Puglia, Italy’s sun-drenched heel, is a region of whitewashed hill towns, ancient olive groves, and slow, seaside living. Our journey begins in Matera, in the neighboring region of Basilicata, an ancient city carved into stone with maze-like alleys, cave dwellings, and honey-colored cliffside homes that glow at sunset. From there, we travel into the southern Salento coast of Puglia, known for its iconic trulli homes, turquoise Adriatic waters, and some of the freshest, most rustic food in the country—think handmade orecchiette, just-pressed olive oil, and seafood straight from the coast. The region is also famous for its bold, full-bodied wines like Primitivo and Negroamaro, celebrated for their rich flavors and deep southern character. With its warm hospitality and unhurried pace, Puglia feels both beautifully authentic and wonderfully serene.
